About Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Department
The B.Ed course is designed to integrate the study of subject knowledge, human development, pedagogical knowledge, and communication skills. The pedagogy comprises three broad curricular areas. Perspective in Education, Curriculum, Studies and Engagement with the Field. Transaction of the courses is done using a variety of approaches, such as case studies, discussion on reflective journals, observation of children, and interactions with the community in multiple socio-cultural environments. Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Gender, Yoga education and disability/inclusive education forms an integral part of the B.Ed curriculum.
Course Duration
- The duration of the course is 2 Years
- The first-year and Final year examination leading to the award of the degree shall be held at the date notified by the University
Eligibility For B.Ed Course
- The minimum qualification required to pursue this course is Bachelor of science, Bachelor of commerce and Bachelor of arts or an equivalent degree
- The percentage required for admission in minimum 50%
- Students need to appear for CET (Common Entrance Test) to qualify for admission
